Job Summary

A talented diesel and pump mechanic is required to join our team at Holland Pump. This role involves inspecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical problems with rental equipment, repairing and/or replacing defective parts, components or systems, and troubleshooting and repairing Perkins, John Deere, Mitsubishi, Duetz, Cummins, Yanmar, and Kubota diesel engines.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems with rental equipment.
• Repair and/or replace defective parts, components or systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and pumps.
• Perform regular maintenance work, such as oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
• Adjust, align, and calibrate systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Possess formal mechanic training from a trade school or other accredited institution.
• Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with all safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (70 LBS).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
