Job Title: Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team at Beloved Ones. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide crisis intervention, therapeutic intervention, and case management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic intervention services to clients, including assessment, collateral, and treatment planning.
  • Conduct case management functions, including visiting and counseling clients and their families, to determine service needs and provide services or referrals.
  • Assist clinicians in providing crisis intervention services, including one-on-one services and group facilitation.
  • Participate in case conferencing with multiple service providers to develop and approve client plans and monitor progress.
  • Recommend therapy services and prepare progress notes, charts, and closing/transfer summaries for clients.
  • Write chart notes in accordance with professional standards, state regulations, and department protocol.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and provide assistance in completing paperwork and providing intervention services.
  • Serve as a liaison and consultant between departments, organizations, parents, children, seniors, probation officers, and other stakeholders on issues concerning clients.
  • Facilitate various groups, including developing and maintaining operating procedures and schedules, documenting involvement, resolving problems, and planning special events.
  • Participate in treatment team, staff, and professional meetings to discuss client progress and serve on committees and boards.
  • Maintain a safe environment for clients and staff by adhering to department procedures and professional standards.
  • Recommend service and program needs and assist in developing policies and procedures.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence in accordance with standard policies.
  • Monitor productivity and workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Enter and retrieve information into computer databases and use computer systems to retrieve reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Four years of experience in a mental health setting as a specialist in physical restoration, social adjustment, or vocational adjustment.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with an 8-hour shift. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
