Job Summary

The Historic Hampton House Community Trust, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position that will report directly to the Executive Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Executive Director and senior staff to define and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring timely and effective execution of key projects and programs.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the executive office, including scheduling, correspondence, and logistics, facilitating meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through on key decisions.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, identifying potential challenges and developing strategies to address them, tracking project progress, budget, and resources.
  • Leadership and Team Coordination: Act as a liaison between the executive team and other departments, ensuring alignment and efficient communication, supporting the development and execution of organizational policies and procedures, and mentoring and guiding junior staff as needed.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including board members, funders, donors, and external partners, preparing and presenting reports and briefings to various stakeholders.
  • Crisis Management: Provide support in managing and resolving organizational issues or crises, developing contingency plans and ensuring readiness for unexpected challenges.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in History, Art, Journalism, or a related field; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a senior management or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in project management, strategic planning, and operations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
