Job Summary

The Assistant Guest Services Manager will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating all activities related to valet operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer service.

This position requires a proactive approach, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals, promote a positive and productive work environment, and drive business success.

Responsibilities

  • Create a friendly environment that promotes exceptional customer service and exceeds client expectations, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Assist the Guest Services Manager in scheduling and staff management, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
  • Recommend measures to improve performance, guest satisfaction, and efficiency, driving business growth and success through data-driven decision making.
  • Perform training as required to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  • Participate in daily huddles to ensure seamless communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment and driving team cohesion.
  • Authorize and manage break schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and maintaining high standards of professionalism, while minimizing labor costs and maximizing productivity.
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail, consistently exceeding client expectations and driving business success.
  • Recruit qualified applicants to fill vacant positions, ensuring adequate staff meet operational requirements and drive business success through effective talent management.
  • Conduct associate performance reviews and provide feedback to the Guest Service Manager, driving continuous improvement and excellence, and promoting employee engagement and retention.
  • Input on personnel actions, such as hiring, promotions, disciplinary measures, and termination, promoting fairness and consistency, and minimizing legal and reputational risks.
  • Ensure quality assurance and management visibility to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, and safety, driving business growth and success through continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Motivate and persuade team members to provide exceptional service, promoting a positive and productive work environment, and driving business success through employee engagement and motivation.
  • Enforce established dress code and hygiene guidelines, ensuring consistent application and adherence, promoting a professional image and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Prepare schedules and compile payroll data as requested by the Guest Services Manager, streamlining processes and improving efficiency, and minimizing labor costs and maximizing productivity.
  • Assist with processing deposit verifications and audit cash flow, tip pool, ticket counts, key counts, car counts, and management-approved complimentary parking, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance, and minimizing financial risk exposure.
  • Conduct lot inspections and suggest functional improvements as requested by the Guest Services Manager, driving continuous improvement and excellence, and promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Investigate claims and provide support whether denied or approved, promoting fairness and consistency, and minimizing legal and reputational risks.

Salary Range

$46,000-$50,000 USD per year.
