This position is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration of space capabilities into military operations.

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Role Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for and synchronize requirements across all facets of the PNT/NAVWAR mission areas.
  • Contribute to the development of command requirements and advanced concepts, ensuring alignment with operational needs.
  • Engage in substantive planning and advocacy efforts to support PNT/NAVWAR initiatives.
  • Assist in system allocation and modernization efforts, integrating and prioritizing future concepts and mission capabilities.

Key Duties:

  • Integrate PNT/NAVWAR requirements into fiscal programs, utilizing advocacy mechanisms to support funding initiatives.
  • Develop major weapon system requirements in accordance with Department of Defense guidelines.
  • Evaluate the impact of testing and evaluation processes on future capability development.
  • Participate in meetings and briefings related to PNT/NAVWAR program planning and advanced technologies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends and advancements in PNT/NAVWAR through professional development.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing command-level plans and programs.
  • Understanding of military program goals and objectives, with experience in evaluating planning effectiveness.
  • Ability to design and manage comprehensive studies related to military operations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build effective working relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience in program analysis and requirements synchronization for PNT/NAVWAR systems.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Position requires drug testing.
