About the Role:
    As a Public Transportation Operator, you will be the primary point of contact for students and parents on school bus routes. Your duties will include ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs, adhering to traffic regulations and district guidelines, and reporting any incidents or accidents to the Transportation Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain professionalism in your interactions with students, parents, and administrative personnel.
  • Safely transport students to and from school and extracurricular activities.
  • Notify the Transportation Department of any accidents, incidents, or delays.
  • Adhere to assigned schedules and be punctual in picking up and discharging students at approved stops.
  • Transport only authorized students and report undisciplined behavior to the principal.

Requirements:
    To succeed in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and hold a valid Louisiana Commercial Driver's License (CDL). You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Information:
    The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
