Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of ECI's products and services, and effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Nurture relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and prevent churn.
  • Conduct regular outreach to engage with customers, understand their business needs, and present tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and drive the sales process.
  • Utilize a consultative selling approach to articulate the value proposition of our manufacturing software products and tailor solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, negotiation, and contract closure, while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
  • Build strong working relationships with customers to increase references, maintain support contracts, and mitigate churn.
  • Log and record all outreach activities in Salesforce, producing regular activity reports.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quota goals in accordance with the strategic plan.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of success in sales, preferably within the software or technology industry.
  • Experience selling to manufacturing customers and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and challenges is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing software is helpful but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with clients.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree highly desirable.

Working Conditions

  • Sit for long periods of time.
  • Speak for long periods of time, as most interaction takes place via phone and online meetings.
  • Perform software demonstrations (online) which may require 1 to 2 hours meetings without breaks.
