Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our production team at LivaNova, PLC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for training and managing personnel, developing and implementing efficient production practices, and ensuring maximum efficiency and performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, and manage personnel in production
  • Develop and implement practices and procedures for efficient identification and resolution of production problems
  • Develop and monitor production schedules, staffing requirements, and budgets
  • Provide leadership to production teams in scheduling, problem-solving, product quality, employee relations, and process improvements
  • Manage the implementation of new processes, technologies, or tooling needed to manufacture our products
  • Work with process engineering to ensure new products are optimally designed for manufacturing
  • Participate in facilities planning meetings that involve manufacturing issues
  • Ensure accurate and complete records of department activities are kept and meet regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma/some college
  • 2-3 years relevant production or manufacturing engineering leadership experience, preferably in the medical device field
  • Software application proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), ERP/MRP software, and MES system
  • Production/manufacturing knowledge including inventory/work-in-process principles, labor efficiencies, production scheduling/planning, yield tracking, defect analysis, and corrective action
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a team environment
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Some college/4 Year degree preferred
  • Lean and Six Sigma training and application experience preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with FDA, DEKRA, and ISO regulations is preferred
Additional Information
  • Compensation: The target annual salary ranges from $75,000 plus annual bonus
  • Travel: This position may require occasional business travel
