Job Description

The Loan Review Manager role at Crowe is a key position that provides leadership to our people and clients in delivering loan review and credit consulting services. This includes outsourced and co-sourced loan review, staff augmentation, credit consulting, and credit remediation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to engagement management, including project planning, budget tracking, and supervision of staff.
  • Support business development by developing leads, interacting with prospects, and working with a team to develop meaningful proposals.
  • Grow and nurture members of the team and clients by sharing credit expertise and providing training.
  • Interpret regulatory changes and develop solutions to address them, including thought leadership and training for internal and external parties.
  • Identify and evaluate credit risks, including newly evolving risks in the market, and develop solutions to mitigate them.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in loan review, commercial credit management, professional services, or consulting.
  • Credit certification, such as CRC or BAI, is a plus.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. banking laws and regulations, specifically those related to commercial credit, underwriting, and credit department management.
  • Prior experience managing within a loan review team and maintaining a network of credit professionals is beneficial.
  • Exposure to larger financial institutions ($10 billion and up) is preferred.
  • Prior experience with leverage lending and large corporate is a plus.
