Job Title: PD Polysomnographic Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. As a key member of our Sleep Lab, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, and direct patient education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine equipment care and maintenance, and inventory evaluation
  • Respond to sleep patients' procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate education utilizing sleep center-specific protocols
  • Adhere to sleep center policies and procedures
  • Inspect and maintain sleep study-related equipment and inventory
  • Review and evaluate sleep studies and provide appropriate feedback to staff
  • Assist the medical director, clinical director, and/or manager in all aspects of sleep center operations

Requirements:

  • Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist
  • At least one year of experience as a sleep technologist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC
  • Maintain current CPR or BLS certification

  • Days
  • PD
