Polysomnographic Specialist

A Polysomnograph Technician works under the general supervision of the Medical Director and the Administrative Director of Pulmonary & Sleep services to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This includes in-center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care, and direct patient education.
Qualifications- Current New Jersey State License as a Polysomnographic Technologist and/or Respiratory Therapist
- At least one year experience as a sleep technologist
- Qualification to obtain, or possession of the CCSH (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) preferred
- Be registered by the ABSM, BRPT, or NBRC
- Maintain current CPR or BLS certification
- Nights
- Full-time
- Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation
- Respond to sleep patients procedural-related inquiries by providing appropriate education utilizing sleep center specific protocols
- Adhere to sleep center policies and procedures
- Inspect and maintain sleep study related equipment and inventory
- Review and evaluate sleep studies and provide appropriate feedback to staff
- Assist the medical director, clinical director and/or manager in all aspects of sleep center operations
