Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse

Key Responsibilities
This Regional Float Cath Lab RN role enables us to efficiently respond to staffing needs across our facilities by deploying skilled clinicians who are well-versed in our policies, procedures, and core values.
This position will require floating between Cath Labs, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care while receiving a 25% hourly differential.
The Cath Lab Nurse is accountable for the safe management of patients undergoing various procedures.The responsibilities include administering and monitoring moderate sedation, assisting with airway management, and overseeing hemodynamic monitoring along with critical care infusions.
Ability to react promptly to emergency situations and assist with the triage of inpatients while ensuring optimal procedural flow is essential.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be tasked with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of healthcare consumers throughout their care continuum.
Your services will address the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of patient care, disease prevention, and health maintenance.

Additional Duties Include:
- Monitoring patients' conditions and assessing their needs
- Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to create tailored care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as per physician directives
- Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families
- Documenting all phases of the nursing process in patient records
Qualifications
We seek a dedicated and empathetic Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills, a caring demeanor, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the capability to effectively educate patients and their families about the healthcare process, are essential.
- Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program.- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in our state.
- Active RN licensure in Nebraska, Iowa, or a nurse licensure compact.
- Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification must be obtained within five months of hire.
- Additional credentials may be necessary based on the level of care the RN will float to.
- 12-18 months of relevant experience preferred.
Compensation
Pay Range: $52.50/hour
