Responsibilities


This Regional Float Cath Lab RN role enables us to effectively respond to staffing needs across our facilities by deploying skilled clinicians who are well-versed in our policies, procedures, and core values.

This position will involve floating between Cath Labs, ensuring optimal patient care while earning a competitive hourly differential.

The Cath Lab Nurse is tasked with ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing various procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • Administering and monitoring moderate sedation
  • Assisting with airway management
  • Conducting hemodynamic monitoring and managing critical care infusions

Additionally, the nurse must be prepared to respond to emergency situations and assist with patient triage and procedural flow to maintain efficiency.


As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for a designated group of patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Your services will address the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological needs of patients, focusing on care for the ill, disease prevention, and health maintenance.

This role aligns with the mission and core values of Catholic Health Initiatives.


Additional responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring patient conditions and assessing their needs
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as per physician orders
  • Creating a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families
  • Documenting all phases of the nursing process in patient records
Qualifications


We seek a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with exceptional clinical skills, a caring demeanor, and the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the capability to effectively educate patients and their families about the healthcare process.

  • Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of practice
  • Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or a nurse licensure compact
  • Basic Life Support certification required upon hire
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required within five months of hire
  • 12-18 months of nursing experience preferred
Pay Range

$52.50/hour
