Job Summary
The Emergency Department Technician will serve as a liaison advocate for patients, families, visitors, and staff. The goal for this role is to enhance the personal service experienced by patients, family members, and visitors while enabling the Emergency Department staff to concentrate on direct patient care.
Responsibilities
* Identify needs of patients and their families and work to improve their satisfaction
* Provide clear and concise instructions to patients, family members, and staff
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
* No prior work experience required
* Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire
* Proficient in written and verbal communication skills
