Recruiting Coordinator Job Description

At Yakima Administration, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Recruiting Coordinator to support our dynamic and fast-paced recruiting team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the direct efforts impacting provider recruitment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community members.

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Recruiting Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting multiple recruiters with administrative tasks, tracking and updating job requisitions and candidate activity, and coordinating interview scheduling and travel itineraries for candidates. You will also be responsible for administering background checks, reference verification, and job-related assessments, as well as monitoring activity and creating reports regarding candidate hiring progress, onboarding, and new hires.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Human Resources (HR) or Business Administration; A High School Diploma or GED and two additional years of relevant experience may substitute for an Associate's Degree
  • Two years' experience working in an administrative capacity, such as an HR Assistant, Admin Assistant, Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant, or similar administrative support position in office administration
  • Entry-level knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment and selection is preferred

What You'll Do:

  • Support multiple recruiters with administrative tasks such as sourcing, interviewing, screening, and hiring candidates
  • Track and update job requisitions and candidate activity through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Train hiring managers in the use of the Applicant Tracking System
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and travel itineraries for candidates as needed
  • Coordinate job fair and conference registrations and attendance
  • Administer background checks, reference verification, and job-related assessments
  • Monitor activity and create reports regarding candidate hiring progress, onboarding, and new hires
  • Support and update the recruitment branding and social media content
  • Process invoices, expenses, and candidate reimbursement requests for the Recruitment department
  • Provide recruiting support for a limited group of jobs, including screening, candidate management, and creation of job offers
