We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Hygienist to join our team at Partners in Dental Care. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, including thorough reviews of patient health history, x-rays, and diagnostic assessments.
- Chart conditions of dental decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist.
- Apply fluorides and other cavity-preventing agents to prevent dental decay.
- Partner with providers and team members to implement systems and maximize office workflow.
- Current dental hygienist license in Michigan and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR Certification.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
- 1+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
