Position OverviewThe Surgical Technologist plays a crucial role in the operating room, providing essential support during surgical procedures. This position requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgical operations.
- Assist the surgical team by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist in ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.
- Participate in the setup and breakdown of the operating room.
- Conduct routine checks on surgical equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures and patient information.
- Licensure: Certification as a Surgical Technologist is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited surgical technology program preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a surgical setting is advantageous.
