The Dining Room Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the dining room department, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining a high level of staff performance. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the activities of dining room staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Enforce performance standards, policies, and procedures to maintain high levels of guest service and employee relations.
  • Assist in the management and performance of dining room staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
  • Monitor internal operations, including daily operations, scheduling, and guest satisfaction.
  • Assign daily activities and sections to dining room staff, ensuring adequate staffing coverage.
  • Train and orient dining room staff to position responsibilities, department operating procedures, and maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness guidelines.
  • Compute guest check totals and complete cash handling on assigned Point of Sales System.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two years supervisory experience in a high-volume, full-service, quality dining environment.
  • Prior customer service and cash handling experience is required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, delegation, problem-solving, and people management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information with diplomacy and tact.
  • Must be able to be licensed by the Lac du Flambeau Tribal Gaming Commission.
Work Environment

The Dining Room Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to differentials in temperature. The role requires continual walking, bending, standing, and lifting.
