Job Summary

As a Senior Manager Supply Chain Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing processes and strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce complexity. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and implement changes
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure successful implementation of supply chain initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 4 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area
  • 2 years' experience with advanced functionality of Microsoft Office
  • Preferred qualifications: Dispatch, Fleet Management, Network Analysis, Retail Logistics Operations

What You'll Do:

You will direct supply chain process improvement efforts by contributing to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders. You will prioritize product flow plan objectives, ensure flow plans are achievable, and manage the correction of errors processes and feedback loops. You will identify areas of opportunity to improve service levels, support the use of end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts, and provide cost recommendations to reduce process waste.

You will drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs, developing and communicating business plans and priorities, removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance, providing resources, identifying performance standards, measuring progress, and adjusting performance accordingly. You will develop contingency plans and demonstrate adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

You will provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training, mentoring, assigning duties, building a team-based work environment, establishing performance expectations, conducting regular performance evaluations, providing recognition and rewards, coaching for success and improvement, and ensuring diversity awareness.

You will promote and support company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application, ensuring compliance with them, and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

You will ensure business needs are met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives, consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders, soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness, and participating in and supporting community outreach events.
