POSITION SUMMARY: PATIENT RETENTION REPRESENTATIVE
The Patient Retention Representative plays a vital role in enhancing patient care by facilitating access to primary and preventive healthcare services. This position involves proactive outreach and follow-up with patients to ensure they receive the necessary services and support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initiate outreach calls to both new and existing patients to promote engagement.
- Respond to incoming inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
- Assess caller needs and provide accurate information while ensuring appropriate triage.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to foster a positive interaction.
- Manage telephone tasks efficiently, including call transfers and message handling.
- Record all patient communications in their electronic health records accurately.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude during all interactions.
- Adhere to customer service excellence principles.
- Schedule appointments for new patients and follow-up visits as needed.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to coordinate patient care effectively.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Engage in daily communication with various departments to enhance workflow.
- Promote teamwork and cooperation across departments.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or call center environment, including outreach activities.
- Proficiency in Armenian/Russian & English OR Spanish & English is mandatory.
COMPENSATION: $21 per hour
