- Business Expansion: Seek out and engage new business opportunities within the automotive sector. Conduct market analysis to identify target demographics and devise strategies for effective market penetration.
- Sales Process Leadership: Oversee the sales journey from initial contact to deal closure. Deliver sales presentations, negotiate agreements, and address objections to secure new business. Collaborate with internal departments, such as engineering and operations, to guarantee timely and successful product and service delivery. Manage sales data entry and the accounts receivable process.
- Travel and Industry Engagement: Anticipate travel approximately 40% of the time to meet clients, attend industry conferences, and engage in networking events. Represent the company with professionalism and act as a brand ambassador, showcasing our products and fostering valuable relationships.
- Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor and report on sales metrics, including revenue, pipeline development, and customer satisfaction. Analyze sales data to identify trends, assess performance, and implement necessary corrective measures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated success in B2B sales, ideally within the automotive sector or a related field.
- Strong business insight and familiarity with OEMs and the automotive manufacturing landscape.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Capability to foster and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-driven and results-focused, with the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 40% of the time.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
