Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As an OR Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory, ensuring a safe and efficient operating environment.
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery.
- Assess the operating room for equipment functionality and readiness, obtaining necessary supplies and ensuring the surgical team's needs are met.
- Monitor and position patients during procedures, providing emotional support and reassurance as needed.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year of Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
