About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Kansas City Civil Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of site and land development projects across multiple markets, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, education, sports, entertainment, residential, and federal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage project elements such as site layout, grading, parking, stormwater drainage systems, water distribution, sanitary sewer collection, stormwater detention, stormwater treatment, public roadways, etc.
  • Lead business development activities and assignments, including financial management of projects and client interface.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers and CAD Technicians to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Master's degree a plus)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Missouri or Kansas, or ability to obtain within 12 months
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site and land development projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects and leading teams
  • Excellent communication, verbal and written, and organizational skills
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. design codes and standards
