Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of software and hardware systems.
  • Ability to analyze and propose solutions for IT challenges.
  • Strong communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

A degree from a four-year accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, or a related field, along with four years of experience in operating systems maintenance.

Substitution:

Graduate studies in relevant fields or full-time experience may substitute for educational and experiential requirements.

Promotional Criteria:

  • Two years of service as a Systems Analyst or IT Support Coordinator within the organization.
  • Civil service status in related classifications.
