Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical fields, instruments, and equipment for various surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of procedures, maintaining open communication and clear lines of authority.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest surgical techniques, technologies, and best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform other physical demands of the role.
