At Sevita, we're dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to individuals with complex needs. As a Life Skills Trainer, you'll play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and live independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision to individuals in areas such as living skills, therapeutic recreation, and daily activities.
  • Assist with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Facilitate relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement through outings and transportation.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.
Requirements:
  • 6-12 months of experience in the human services field (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license with 2 years of post-permit driving experience
  • Minimum age of 18
  • Successful background clearance
  • Caring attitude and dedication to assisting others
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication
  • Reliable and responsible attitude, with a compassionate approach
  • Commitment to quality in all aspects of work
