Master Halco, the foremost manufacturer and distributor of fencing, perimeter security, and innovative outdoor living products in North America, is on the lookout for a skilled Field Sales Representative.
In this position, the Field Sales Representative will play a crucial role in boosting the sales performance of the company's fencing, perimeter security, and outdoor living offerings. Your responsibilities will include conducting face-to-face sales meetings with both existing and prospective clients, nurturing enduring business relationships, and identifying new avenues for growth. While a significant portion of your time will be dedicated to fieldwork engaging with clients, this role will also require one or two days per week spent at the branch office handling outbound calls, generating quotes and orders, assisting customers, and managing daily administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership
  • Drive sales initiatives to optimize growth, margin targets, market share, and overall company goals
  • Exhibit strong leadership in sales with a solid understanding of business

Client Relationship Management
  • Establish robust business relationships through in-person sales interactions and relationship-building efforts
  • Develop clientele in this emerging business segment
  • Identify customer motivations and respond effectively

Market Development
  • Execute sales growth strategies aligned with the company's strategic objectives
  • Foster a culture of creativity in business development approaches
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to formulate and implement sales growth strategies

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
  • Proficient in Internet research
  • Ability to utilize software for presentations, documents, and spreadsheets
  • Proven success in sales within the building materials sector and home center/hardware stores preferred
  • Experience in the fencing or building materials industry is a plus
  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary
  • Valid Driver's License
