About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead various platform product development initiatives for our next generation Semiconductor Testers. As a key member of our Mechanical Engineering group, you will be responsible for creating innovative and sound technical solutions to complex engineering problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the application of engineering principles to develop new ideas and solutions
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Systems Engineering to understand customer needs and implement design solutions for New Product Introduction and High-Volume Manufacturing
  • Lead complex design reviews, internally and customer, and provide technical problem-solving guidance to others
  • Develop industry-leading Platform products based on sound engineering principles, including scalable electro-mechanical architectures and signal delivery solutions for precision electro-mechanical mass termination docking systems
  • Collaborate with global supply base to arrive at economically viable solutions and participate in setting technical direction/product strategies
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree, 6 years with a Master of Science Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • Advanced understanding of mechanical design concepts, including GD&T standards and applied experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentations and technical writing
  • Working knowledge of SEMI standards and ability to apply complex groupings of standards into designs
