Position Summary
The Senior Business Systems Consultant will possess a solid understanding of database principles and collaborate closely with the Software Engineering team, Client Services, Sales, and Manufacturing stakeholders on medium to large-scale initiatives to ensure that deliverables meet specifications, timelines, and ODS quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Refine and document business, technical, and manufacturing specifications.
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end testing strategies, including conditions and expected outcomes for assigned projects.
- Facilitate discussions and prioritize tasks using Kanban methodologies to ensure that milestone deadlines are achieved by all stakeholders.
- Analyze data to identify discrepancies and defects utilizing SQL.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related discipline is required.
- Proven experience (3-5 years on average) in Business Systems Analysis roles.
- Experience in managing medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of all ODS departments, workflows, business processes, and the industry landscape.
Work Environment
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Must be capable of fulfilling essential job functions. The role is primarily office-based, necessitating the ability to sit for extended periods (66%+ of the workday), hear telephone communications, and enter data on a computer. Lifting up to 10 pounds may also be required.
