Business Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Analyst to support MCE Systems in developing and executing strategic initiatives to strengthen and grow the company's position as a leading Telecommunications SaaS provider.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluating new business and product opportunities, conducting data-focused market research, and supporting pre-sales and business development initiatives with rigorous research and analysis.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, comfortable with both quantitative and qualitative analysis, and eager to learn about the Telco ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research the Telco ecosystem and industry trends to develop and evaluate new business opportunities addressable with MCE Systems' technological solutions
  • Support customer survey and market research initiatives with end-to-end management from data collection to analysis and executive-level reporting
  • Develop product marketing material for solutions highlighting use cases, value propositions, and translating technology to business impact
  • Collaborate with the company's internal teams to deliver analysis for client and sales initiatives equipping them with the information needed to make data-informed decisions
  • Work with marketing and sales teams to create marketing artifacts including industry keynotes, award applications, and other thought leadership content
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Political Science, or a related field
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in consulting, finance, or strategy role at a high-growth tech company. Internship experience is also a plus
  • Comfortable problem-solving, including ambiguous business problems, with analytical yet creative approaches
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly express high-level analysis
  • Flexible, team player that is capable of supporting multiple workflows simultaneously
  • Willingness to 'wear many hats' and learn about different roles across the company including marketing, sales, customer support, and product development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially comfortable with PowerPoint and Excel
