  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency in the machining department.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor and control costs, inventory, and resources to optimize departmental performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including production staff, quality control, and maintenance teams.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records and reports to track departmental performance and progress.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on machining and production management.
  • Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, quality control, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
