Key Responsibilities

  • Perform audits and analyze data to identify areas for corrective and preventive enhancements.
  • Facilitate 8D and 5Why investigations to address issues.
  • Interpret and understand the requirements outlined in technical drawings.
  • Evaluate drawing specifications and determine the appropriate inspection methods and tools for product acceptance.
  • Utilize inspection tools (ID/OD mics, calipers, and various gauges) to assess product quality.
  • Initiate and complete all quality-related documentation with minimal oversight.

Required Experience and Skills

  • At least 3 years of quality assurance experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment.
  • Fundamental understanding of ASME-Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and the ability to apply and inspect according to these standards with minimal guidance.
  • Capability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Proficiency in supporting PPAPs and Control Plans.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with SAP MRP systems is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of FM and UL inspection documentation is desirable but not essential.
