Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance, including system updates, patches, and backups, to ensure continuous system reliability.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot any issues to minimize downtime, specifically within the sports betting environment.
  • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to design and implement infrastructure improvements tailored to sports betting operations.
  • Provide technical support and resolve any system-related issues promptly, ensuring a seamless betting experience for users.
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps specific to sports betting systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, with a focus on sports betting or gaming systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Stadium technology or other sports betting platforms is required.
  • Strong knowledge of server and network administration, including virtualization technologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.
  • Familiarity with security best practices and industry standards, especially in the context of sports betting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • In-depth knowledge of sports betting regulations and compliance standards.
