Job Summary

As a Database Systems Architect at Aristocrat Technologies, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure database systems to support our gaming operations. This is a hybrid position that requires both technical expertise and business acumen.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and implement MSSQL solutions for our gaming environments
* Manage and plan the database environment and configuration for optimal performance
* Assist in configuring SSIS packages to populate SSRS reports
* Troubleshoot network issues encountered at local and remote sites
* Identify and resolve operational problems and make necessary recommendations and adjustments to minimize downtime and prevent future problems
* Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
* Monitor system resource utilization and capacity planning
* Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 4-6 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
* Requires experience in a related technical service and support role working directly with MS SQL server, SSRS, SSIS, and Always On high availability
* Proven hands-on systems administration experience
* Solid understanding of Microsoft SQL server (e.g., SSRS, SSIS, Always On)
* Proven hands-on network engineering experience
* Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
* Hands-on experience with Windows and SQL Server
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Must be able to work independently and require little direction
* Must be able to act as team leader and redirect workflow appropriately
* Proven customer relation skills
* Must be able to obtain gaming license in all jurisdictions that have MSP products
* Must have strong analytical, problem identification and problem-solving abilities
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

* $91,259 - $169,481 per year
