Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our client's architecture firm. As the sole individual handling financial management, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing financial budgets and forecasts. Your expertise will be essential in preparing financial reports, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Develop and manage financial budgets and forecasts, prepare financial reports, and analyze variances to provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Contract Management: Assist in drafting and reviewing standard contracts with clients, suppliers, and partners.
  • Accounting Tasks: Conduct monthly bookkeeping, asset tracking, billing, and payroll activities, ensuring payroll tax compliance and maintaining organized records.
  • Employee Benefits and Payroll: Oversee employee benefits programs and process payroll accurately and timely.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in architecture or a similar industry.
  • Proficiency with Deltek Vantagepoint, Vision, or Ajera.

Additional Information: Salary: $95,000. Location: Portland, Oregon - full remote available for an Oregon or SW Washington based candidate.
