Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all procurement activities for Dalkia US, including sourcing, negotiating, and acquiring goods and services.
  • Build and sustain relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure high-quality and cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to assess their procurement requirements and provide expert guidance on procurement strategies and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of products and services.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and negotiate advantageous terms with vendors.
  • Maintain precise and current records of all procurement transactions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging procurement technologies to enhance the procurement process and minimize expenses.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as adherence to federal and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement management software.
  • Familiarity with supply chain and procurement best practices.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
