Role Overview: The Anesthesiologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care during monitored anesthesia care (MAC). Collaborating closely with certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) and gastroenterologists, this position ensures the highest standards of safety and efficacy during endoscopic procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patient medical histories in a pre-procedure context to determine the most effective anesthesia strategy.
- Administer anesthesia during procedures and adeptly manage patient responses throughout the process.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Adherence to state regulations regarding licensure.
- Current life support certification.
Essential Skills:
- Proficient assessment and evaluation skills.
- Knowledge of compassionate care principles, infection control protocols, and emergency response procedures.
- Competence in word processing and documentation.
Abilities:
