Job Summary:
United Cerebral Palsy of Maine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of K-4 Educational Support Specialist. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and youth across various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to children in a K-4 classroom setting, promoting academic and social growth.
- Offer assistance to youth of varying ages in home and community settings, fostering a sense of belonging and connection.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all individuals, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 90 college credit hours or Ed Tech III certification.
- CPR/First Aid/BBP certifications within 60 days of hire.
- Safety Care certification within 30 days of hire.
- BHP certification within 12 months of hire.
- Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation, and proof of registration and insurance.
