Job Title

A Paralegal with medical malpractice experience is sought to join a full-service, direct hire, boutique staffing agency dedicated to providing comprehensive staffing solutions in the Philadelphia area.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field and be familiar with legal research. They should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings
  • Assist with drafting and reviewing of legal documents
  • Investigate facts to help negotiate legal disputes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Record and store client information
  • Lien management and deposition summaries
  • Medical records summaries
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery, pretrial memos, settlement memos, and trial prep (exhibits)
  • Schedule experts for trial

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
  • Familiarity with legal research
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Experience with the complete legal process from pre-litigation to trial
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience with travel arrangements
  • Proficient in Westlaw and Time Matters

This is a full-time position offering competitive pay, benefits, and PTO. The salary range is $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience.
