Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide courteous and efficient customer service in person or by telephone, addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate cash registers and assist guests with self-checkouts, handling a variety of products and financial transactions, including cash, checks, credit cards, and food stamps.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked department, adhering to Company safety and sanitation procedures and standards.
  • Communicate Company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers, modeling high standards of service to achieve a customer-oriented store.
  • Notify department leads or managers of any issues with pricing, cash registers, or other concerns.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED (required)
  • One year of prior retail or related experience preferred
  • Good verbal communication skills, ability to interact politely and effectively with customers
  • Good customer service and organizational skills, detail-oriented
