The estimated salary for this position is $40,077.79 annually, plus comprehensive state employee benefits. With extensive training provided, you will gain expertise in treatment and preventive services, child protection, and family preservation.

About the Role:

This position involves working with Child Protective Services (CPS), Family Centered Services (FCS), and Permanency Planning (PP). Your key responsibilities will include investigating allegations of child abuse or neglect, protecting children's safety, and providing supportive services to families.

Your Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree (in any field) OR one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
  • Or, completion of 90 hours from an accredited college or university OR 3 years of experience related to child welfare work OR a combination of education and experience.

Bonus Opportunities:

  • Applicants with a Master's Degree in Social Work may be eligible for a 5% salary incentive.
  • On-call positions receive an additional bonus ranging from $100 to $150 every two weeks, depending on responsibilities.
