Job Summary:
The Lab IT Specialist will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and providing technical support for customer laboratory IT environments, typically integrated with instrumentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and assure connectivity and security of customer's Windows-based platform; user/group permissions, file/folder permissions, group policies, local security policies, etc...
- Repairing and troubleshooting instrument-related computers and escalating issues to the client infrastructure teams
- Create and maintain a physical inventory of lab equipment, PCs, software, and any other information specified by the client
- Acts as client Liaison for software/hardware-related inquiries
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Corporate/Enterprise level IT support
- Associate Degree in Computer Science or similar
- Microsoft Office, networking, remote computing, and backup systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technology issues
- Prior experience utilizing ServiceNow
