Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to spearhead the Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, and Talent Development sectors within the Human Resources division. This position places a significant focus on crafting and executing a pioneering Talent Management initiative that encompasses employee growth, succession planning, mentorship, and professional networking. The individual will act as the HR Business Partner for various Operating Units.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the Recruitment function and its associated systems, ensuring alignment with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with management to tackle strategic business challenges, enhance organizational design, and promote a diverse workforce.
- Address employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinary processes, while consulting with legal advisors as necessary.
- Develop and implement a robust Talent Management program that includes employee development, succession planning, and mentoring initiatives.
- Coordinate HR communications and work closely with the Corporate Employee Communications team.
- Report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and serve as a key leader within the HR department, partnering with senior leadership to drive strategic planning and communication initiatives.

Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
  • A Master's degree or advanced qualification in these areas is highly desirable.
Experience
  • 10-15 years of comprehensive HR experience demonstrating strong business acumen and employee relations expertise.
  • Proven management skills across various domains including financial, operational, and strategic perspectives.
  • Expertise in human resources and legal matters, with a focus on compliance and best practices.
  • Experience in communication planning and execution is essential.
  • Familiarity with adult learning theories and principles is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience in compensation, performance management, diversity initiatives, and career development programs is required.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong leadership and people management abilities, with a track record of supervising diverse teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state HR regulations applicable to various business environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Proficient in gathering information and conducting investigations to support informed decision-making.
  • Strong writing capabilities for creating training materials, policies, and reports.
  • Ability to foster collaboration and motivate others to leverage their strengths effectively.
  • Cultural agility and the ability to operate successfully in diverse environments.
  • Technologically adept, with proficiency in MS Office, HRIS, and related databases.
