Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team as an Anesthesia Department Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the planning and comprehensive operations of our anesthesia division on a 24-hour basis, ensuring seamless collaboration with other health professionals in a respectful, accountable, and adaptive environment.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $125,000 - $175,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote interprofessional collaboration and manage initiatives, strategic priorities, and program development to enhance clinical and non-clinical workflows, increase productivity, and improve overall quality outcomes and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with leaders to establish operating procedures, enhance clinical and non-clinical processes, and identify improvements to practices, clinical process(es), scope of practice, and other areas impacting patient management and clinical process.
  • Empower and motivate team members to their highest potential, fostering a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous learning.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
  • Master's degree in nursing, Nurse Anesthesia, or a health-related field is required.
  • Five years or more of clinical practice experience is required.
  • Three years of progressive leadership experience in a CRNA setting is required.
  • Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) preferred.
  • Insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.
