About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Relationship Officer to join our team at East West Bank. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and retain existing customer relationships, while cultivating new relationships to expand our customer base and grow assets, loans, and deposits.
  • Work closely with internal business partners to facilitate connections with customers and provide specialized financial solutions.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual goals through business generation of commercial and industrial loans, mortgages, treasury management, deposits, investments, and international products.
  • Understand and apply the bank's credit policy to identify clients' eligibility for loan products and provide need-based solutions.
  • Motivate and coach employees to achieve sales and service goals, while efficiently managing time and prioritizing tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital resources and technologies to optimize clients' digital banking experience and provide education on how to use digital platforms effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial lending and/or consultative relationship sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products, credit, and deposit products, with experience in international activities between the U.S. and Greater China preferred.
  • Strong sales and service skills, including prospecting and networking, with the ability to establish new clients, deepen customer relationships, and deliver results.
  • Strong financial acumen, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to manage client concerns and adapt to new information and technology platforms.
What We Offer

East West Bank offers a competitive salary range of $67,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year, based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. We also provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow your career and expand your business knowledge.
