Job Summary

The Facilities Development Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting all Department activities. This position is responsible for planning and organizing the work order system, assigning work to supervisors and engineers, and reviewing documentation to ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and organize the work order system to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Assign work to supervisors and engineers, and review documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain departmental databases, project schedules, and documentation to ensure up-to-date information.
  • Support Safety, Security, Hazardous Material and Waste, Emergency Preparedness, Life Safety, Medical Equipment and Utility Systems programs.
  • Gather, organize, and maintain information for efficient access, and develop and maintain spreadsheets and reports.
  • Revises Policy and Procedures to comply with changing regulations.
  • Ensure that requests for information and services are accurately responded to in a timely and appropriate manner.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related office, business or administrative experience.
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
  • Understanding of basic medical terminology.
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet timelines.
