Job Summary

The Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County seeks a highly motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our emergency care team.

About the Position

This full-time role offers a unique opportunity to work in a 24-hour emergency environment, providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient restraint, triage, and lab sample collection and analysis
  • Diagnostic imaging, nursing care, and anesthetic management
  • Medication administration, client communication, and surgical preparation
Requirements
  • Licensed veterinary technician with 1+ year ER experience preferred
  • High work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills
  • Weekend availability required, ability to work flexible hours
  • Knowledge of preventative care, surgical procedures, and hospital flow
  • Ability to restrain pets safely, collect lab samples, and process tests
