Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at El Pollo Loco. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service by greeting guests with a smile and making them feel welcome. You will also be responsible for running the drive-thru station and working with a team to deliver fast and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide friendly and courteous service to guests
- Run the drive-thru station and manage customer orders
- Work collaboratively with a team to deliver fast and efficient service
- Ensure great guest service 100% of the time
Requirements:
- No experience is required, however one or more years of experience in a restaurant or customer service position is preferred
- No education is required, however a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred
- Ability to speak and read English is required (second language a plus)
- Ability to speak effectively with external customers
- Customer service skills and experience entering orders into a Point-Of-Sales (POS) system is preferred
- A food handler card is required where applicable
