Veterinary Medicine Liaison

Job Summary
The Student Ambassador is a vital role at Banfield Pet Hospital, serving as a liaison between the university and our medical director. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Banfield Pet Hospital in a professional and sincere manner, promoting awareness of our mission and vision among peers and faculty.
- Assist the Student Programs team and assigned medical director in arranging campus visits, distributing materials, and coordinating events.
- Participate in presentations on campus and provide follow-up with students and Banfield.
- Distribute Banfield flyers, posters, and other collateral to faculty and student body, as allowed by school policy.
- Inform the Student Programs team of student activities and functions that may serve as a venue for Banfield participation.
- Attend Banfield-sponsored conferences and educational meetings when appropriate.
- Maintain open communication with the Student Programs team and assigned medical director.
Requirements
- Enrolled as a student in a veterinary medicine program at a School or College of Veterinary Medicine.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
- Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics, and language ability to perform duties proficiently.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb, as well as manipulate up to 50 pounds.
- Environment where pets are present.
