Responsibilities

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the success of our medical center. Your primary responsibility will be to perform imaging procedures and computer analysis for medical diagnosis under the direction of the Radiologist/Medical Director and in accordance with established departmental procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be currently registered and certified with the State of California Radiologic Health Branch and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or must be registry eligible by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB). A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a hospital nuclear medicine department is required, with a preferred one year of PET/CT experience.

You must also possess a high school diploma and satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved program in Nuclear Technology. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of nuclear medicine procedures and techniques, as well as current ethics, laws, and regulations. Minimal supervision and interaction are required in day-to-day fulfillment of job responsibilities, and you must demonstrate a quality attitude toward patient care.
